'Plugged In's' Oscar Party |

I most likely won't be watching the Oscars this Sunday night (too many papers to grade), but for those of you who plan to catch the telecast -- and who can both watch television and type on a computer keyboard -- you might want to check out this fun activity with the writers of Focus on the Family's "Plugged In" site. You gotta love someone who can write this opening paragraph:
When it comes to movies, we're serious men and women. When you walk into a theater, we don't want you to be blindsided or suffer a locker full of hurt. Yes, some of these films can leave you feeling up, but others can sequester you in a district of misery. So we serve as your avatars in the theater—your inglourious bastions of integrity, making sure that, when it comes to entertainment, you're never left up in the air. We want, in short, to give you an education and provide you with the precious tools you'll need to navigate this fascinating, sometimes frightening world of media in which we live.
P.S. Who will I be rooting for in the best movie category? Well, it's a toss up (pun intended) between Up and The Blind Side.
