The Vision
The vision of BreakPoint and the Colson Center for Christian Worldview is a revived Church renewing culture and awakening the world to Truth.

Chuck Colson Speaking - 2010
Chuck Colson (1931-2012)
"In an increasingly hostile, secular culture, Christians are faced with issues and choices we’ve never had to deal with before. BreakPoint is here to help believers of every denominational background develop a robust Christian worldview—seeing, understanding, and engaging the world from a biblical perspective." - Chuck Colson

The teachings of Christ, given to us in Scripture and taught and applied to human culture by the likes of Paul of Tarsus, Augustine, Calvin, C.S. Lewis, and Martin Luther King, Jr., have profoundly shaped Western Civilization and the course of world history. BreakPoint and the Colson Center for Christian Worldview seek to equip and train modern Christians to carry on that culture-shaping work by bringing the Christian worldview to bear in all areas of life.

Chuck Colson launched BreakPoint in 1991 as a daily radio commentary, providing a Christian perspective on the important news and issues of the day. Today, the BreakPoint broadcast, co-hosted by Eric Metaxas and John Stonestreet, is heard on more than 1,000 outlets by an estimated audience of over 2 million. BreakPoint.org provides visitors with the daily BreakPoint radio transcript and audio files, and features the BreakPoint blog, RE:News (providing links to breaking news that Christians need to know about), and articles by leading Christian teachers and writers. At BreakPoint.org, you can also find information about the Centurions Program, an intensive one-year worldview study and networking program.
To experience how Christianity can impact our culture today, make BreakPoint.org and ColsonCenter.org daily destinations.

In 2009, Colson launched The Charles Colson Center for Christian Worldview (ColsonCenter.org), to allow visitors to dig deeper into Christian worldview teaching and application. With its library of over 12,000 entries, online training courses and studies (including many in PDF form downloadable for use in teaching), the Colson Center provides a complete Christian worldview learning experience.

In addition, both BreakPoint.org and ColsonCenter.org are quickly developing online communities with growing opportunities for discussion, group involvement and "many-to-many" conversations with others who seek to apply the transforming power of Jesus Christ to the culture.

BreakPoint, a program of the Colson Center, is affiliated with Prison Fellowship Ministries, a non-profit ministry founded by Colson after his release from prison for a Watergate-related offense in 1976.
