'British Conservatives lead charge for gay marriage'

"Americans watching the latest push for social change in Britain might feel as if they had stepped into an alternate political universe: Here, the Conservatives are leading the charge for same-sex marriage."
It does not matter if you call yourself conservative or liberal, when you endorse homosexuality in any form you will hurt a society. It sounds like the lower taxes and lower spending will help the British economy in the short term, but the social decay will eventually cause the economy to suffer.
