The “he” I’m talking about is C. S. Lewis, who once wrote: “Really, a young Atheist cannot guard his faith too carefully. Dangers lie in wait for him on every side.” One of the dangers Lewis warned his atheist friends about was what they read...and he should know. It was Lewis’ reading, as well as his relationships with some of the most significant British authors of his day — like George McDonald and J.R.R. Tolkein — that eventually led him to become what he called “the most reluctant convert in all of Britain.”

Well, it seems to have happened again. Leah Librisco was a blogger on the atheist portal of Patheos.com, until this week. Seems she had been doing a good bit of reading and wrestling through issues like the existence of morality and if its possible without God. She came to think it isn’t — and that the moral law seems to have a personal quality to it, as if it came from something like a personal God.
