Christians who argue that if our culture accepts homosexuality, then attitudes will also change toward other taboo types of sex have long been accused of alarmism. “That’s a slippery slope fallacy,” opponents have always replied.
Well, so much for that defense.
In July, TIME Magazine interviewed the Dargers, a polygamous family who star in the new TLC reality show, “Sister Wives.” The Dargers say they’re “coming out of the closet” because homosexuality has already blazed the trail for them.
This month, Fox News reported that Nick Cassavetes, who directed the film, “The Notebook,” is now looking for a studio for his new film about a romance between a brother and sister.
As Vice President Joe Biden admitted earlier this year, it was entertainment like the TV show “Will and Grace,” which changed our culture’s attitude about homosexuality.
