Closely following Andy Griffith's lead, Ernest Borgnine just passed away.

Notice how Borgnine used to drive his own bus and talk to people in the towns he visited. John Wayne used to do the same thing. During shoots, Wayne wouldn't just hang out with fellow actors, but would go to the local watering places and talk with people.

Sadly, I think that many of today's Hollywood and Washington elites have insulated themselves in their own little bubbles.
