Desperately Needed Today

Even though Chuck Colson's death was a few months ago, it still doesn't seem real to me. Yesterday I found this video of Chuck talking about the importance of Abraham Kuyper's message about seeing all of life through a Christian worldview lens. For those of you who haven't visited our campus, he's driving up to the Colson Guest House in Lansdowne, Virginia.

Thankfully, we have his writing, speeches, and videos to remind us of his life and teachings.

Thanks, Boyd! And Kim, I was asking because has _The Work of the Holy Spirit_ and ("Oh, boy, here we go again!" he said, with a wink and a grin) _Lectures on Calvinism_, both in Kindle format, for $0.99 each. I think the second book is the "Six Stone Lectures", perhaps in expanded form, but I'm not sure. And I see Kuyper wrote many other works also.

While we do our best to patiently wait for Godot - uh, *Metaxas* - there's this on the life of the man:

And of course, this might also be helpful:
Jonathan Aitken wrote the authorized biography of Chuck titled Charles W. Colson: A Life Redeemed.
Chuck said three people tremendously influenced him, Kim: Wilberforce, Bonhoeffer and Kuyper. To date, Eric has written award-winning biographies of two of them. Now, I hate to add a huge commitment to someone's list of things to do, and I can scarcely imagine how much busier Eric's life has become. But I can hope for one more blessing.

In the meantime, does Breakpoint have a list of "must read" works by Kuyper?
