Bad Sportsmanship

The Lebanese judo team is refusing to play nice with the Israelis. Seems to me the bad sports need to be kicked out of the stadium.

What do you think?

Comments:

No need to kick them out. Just don't coddle them, and let them decide whether it's more important to participate or to maintain their sanctimony.
It's not as if the original competitor's at Olympia were known for their fond feelings for each other...
From the Olympic Charter, "Fundamental Principles of Olympism":

2. The goal of Olympism is to place sport at the service of the harmonious development of humankind, with a view to promoting a peaceful society concerned with the preservation of human dignity.

4. The practice of sport is a human right. Every individual must have the possibility of practising sport, without discrimination of any kind and in the Olympic spirit, which requires mutual understanding with a spirit of friendship, solidarity and fair play.

One nasty tweet from a Greek triple-jumper gets her booted before the games begin. But she was discriminating against Africans, not Israelis. Apparently we're back to the question of whether or not Jews are fully human. Thought we settled that 67 years ago.
