The legacy of Helen Gurley Brown

Liz Jones of the "Daily Mail" was a longtime fan of Helen Gurley Brown, who passed away on Monday. From the time that Cosmopolitan was first published in 1972, Jones says, "I believed every word that magazine told me." Yet all these years later, Jones has to admit that Gurley Brown's rosy vision of the single, sucessful, sexually active woman was, by and large, "an illusion."

Helen Gurley Brown and Nellie Gray
These two women died on the same day. Yet, each left a legacy that has transformed our nation. Brown left a legacy of "sexual freedom," one of Satan's greatest lies. In her wake, Brown left the broken bodies and souls of countless women. In deep contrast is the life of Nellie Gray. Gray, the founder of March for Jesus, left a legacy that pointed to Jesus Christ as King! How many lives were lost and saved because of the witnesses of these two women?
