Easter
We've had various conversations (including last weekend) over the years discussing that pastors of conservative churches (even a large Bible Church in Reston) say they get tired of standard Easter and Christmas sermons/celebrations.

I think Barna's poll is an indictment on that line of thinking. People need to have standard celebrations, re-emphasizing the core teachings. Otherwise the message gets blurred. New people come into the church, and the lack of tradition leaves them uninformed of these core teachings.

God saw fit to put in several annual feasts/celebrations for the Israelits. Why do modern churches, even conservative, evangelical churches, want to abandon them?
